- DOP, known for developing privacy infrastructure on Ethereum, has launched its Testnet.
- This Testnet allows users to experience and test DOP’s functionalities before its full-scale launch.
- Token Rewards:
- Participants who complete testing tasks effectively are promised DOP token rewards.
- These rewards will be distributed after the official launch of the DOP token in early 2024.
- Getting Started:
- Users are advised to use the latest version of Google Chrome for optimal experience.
- Metamask wallet is currently the only supported wallet, so users must have it set up in their browser.
- Joining the DOP Testnet:
- Step 1: Visit the DOP website and click on the “Testnet” button.
- Step 2: Create or import a wallet by agreeing to terms, providing email, creating a password, saving the Secret Recovery Phrase securely, and unlocking the wallet with the password.
- Step 3: Connect the wallet by selecting Metamask and confirming the connection in the external wallet.
- Testing Dashboard:
- This dashboard serves as the testing environment with 8 steps to complete for DOP rewards.
- The left menu bar contains various functions available on the Testnet.
- Testing Steps:
- Steps 1-4 involve following DOP on a specified platform and claiming test tokens.
- Step 5: Encrypt assets by selecting a DOP address and token, specifying the amount, and confirming the transaction in Metamask.
- Step 6: Send encrypted assets by choosing the destination DOP account, selecting the encrypted token and amount, and confirming the transaction.
- Step 7: Decrypt assets by choosing the encrypted token and amount, entering the wallet password, and confirming the transaction in Metamask.
- Final Step: Invite at least 3 friends using a unique referral link to become eligible for DOP rewards.
- Completion and Rewards:
- Once 3 friends join through the referral link, the user becomes eligible for DOP rewards.
- Bonus rewards are available for additional referrals, with a maximum of 100 referrals.
- Users can track their progress and bonus details under “Invite & Earn” on the dashboard.
